This is just a friendly little reminder that the meeting is the usual place and time this Friday (6-11 pm in AD101).
Besides that, there are 2 other important reminders:
1. Officer nominations open up tonight. We need 4 undergraduate students (in good standing at UMBC so GPA > 2.5) to fill the 4 roles of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. We will be going over the requirements in greater detail and answering questions during the beginning of the break, but all officers are required to 1: spend 1 hour a week meeting to plan club (when can be decided at discretion of officers) 2: fulfill specific duties that will be gone over in detail once elected, but to give you an idea of the basic duties:
President: reserve the rooms and be the face of the club, as well as request money from SGA when treasurer can't
Vice-President: First officer to run meetings (although it is up to all officers' discretion), responsible for running marathon and setting it up
Treasurer: Request funds for SGA, especially for the lecture hall and marathon
Secretary: Record what the club watches, as well as the titles that were put up and the votes they received. Also responsible for getting people to sign in to provide evidence of attendance.
2. The 24-hour anime marathon will be the Saturday-Sunday 3 weeks from now, so there are only 2 more weeks for people to submit AMVs to be watched in between viewing blocks
